Art tuition is with Lucy Stubbs, a landscape painter and experienced teacher who has exhibited widely in England and in the Mani, Greece, where she spends half the year. She gives individual classes to groups of up to fifteen students of all abilities, beginning with sketch-book work and progressing to watercolour painting.

The dramatic landscape of the area is a constant source of inspiration, and students find subjects wherever they look; from the unique details of local architecture and plant life to the magnificence of the Taygetos mountains and the bay of Messinia.

Using the picturesque coastal town of Kardamyli as a base, groups explore the luxuriant Diros gorge and the abandoned old city that lies at its mouth.
